Mark Wilson Plays with 2009 Lake Country Charity Invitational Players

The Lake Country Charity Invitational was held on April 25th at Brown Deer Golf Course since its home, Erin Hills, was having work done on it preparing for the 2011 USGA Men’s Amateur Open.

MACC Fund Honorary Athletic Board Member and PGA Tour Professional, Mark Wilson is the Invitational’s
Honorary Chairman. His resume includes winning the 2007 Honda Classic and the 2009 Mayokoba Golf Classic Open. He was ranked 34th on the FedEx list going into the July 16-19 U.S. Bank Championship, Milwaukee’s PGA Tour stop.

Instead of joining his fellow pros practicing at Brown Deer, Mark played Erin Hills on July 13th with the golf teams from Mukwonago High School and Whitnall High School. Each had won a drawing of teams which were the top fund-raisers in the annual event which has raised $115,000 since 2007. Erin Hills’ generous owner, Bob Lang, provided the great championship venue for this memorable round.

Thanks to Bob Lang, Mark Wilson, Tom Tallmadge and all of the golfers and their generous donors who helped raise over $31,000 this year.
